Vote. Vote! VOTE!

This week, my beautiful wife Phyllis and I went to vote. I’m pleased to see so many people voting enthusiastically, and early. Sadly, it’s very disheartening, and disappointing to see the games being played to discourage voters. Some of this foolishness, and these tricks, go back many decades. Same old mess!
Keep fighting and voting family. This year, VOTING is deeply critical. So, no matter what, keep it up family and VOTE!
Systemic racism can be addressed by the law. But that is only possible if we make our voices heard and hold our elected officials accountable through our voting power. That is why we need to VOTE, and vote early if you can. As my wife, Pastor Phyllis, said so well the other day: “Your vote is your voice. And both matter!”
Even our youngsters understand this critical moment, this pivotal time in history that we are in. Papa, my grandson, was talking to me about voting. “I’m far too young to vote, but if you are of age… you must vote,” he said.
So, I can’t say it enough: VOTE PEOPLE!!!! Vote early. Bring your family, and friends, but VOTE! VOTE! Listen, voting makes the difference. Many fought, and died for our right to vote. If you have not voted, get to the polls. Or if you are not going in person to the polls this year, mail in your ballot. But whatever you do, vote.
We also need a change of heart to address our nation’s morality. Only God can change the heart. That is why we need to pray. We must pray AND VOTE! We must continue to have faith and hold on to the good hand of God.
I also want to encourage you, and let you know that these are very trying times. The added stresses of this time can be wearisome emotionally, but also physically. So, we need to follow God and the science. Make sure that you are getting yourself tested. Take your vitamins. Drink your water, take your minerals and get your rest!
Be encouraged and keep your hope alive. God is still able, and God remains our refuge and our strength.
Be encouraged. Keep the faith. And VOTE!
